A Trip to the Windy City – Chicago, IL & Milwaukee, WI

Last week at this time, Colton and I were in Milwaukee getting ready to board the Amtrak back to Chicago. We spent 6 days in the windy city, with a day trip up to Milwaukee to see a Brewers game. It was a fantastic trip, and it was really nice to go on one last vacation as just the two of us before Baby S arrives in early November! We had the opportunity to see all the sights and eat all the yummy food, of course. We scratched three (!!) baseball stadiums off Colton’s list, ate a deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati’s and an italian beef at Portillo’s, and explored a few neighborhoods around the city. By the end of the trip my pregnant lady feet were absolutely killing me, but it was so worth it!
