Exploring the Texas Panhandle

Colton and I bypassed lake time and BBQs this Memorial Day weekend and took a road trip to the panhandle of Texas. There’s not much there — but that’s the beauty of it! I’ve visited this area once with my family 9 years ago and it was great to be able to come back with Colton. We stayed in Canyon, TX at a wonderful Airbnb with Brandy & Bryan as our hosts (highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area!). Over the long weekend, we explored everything from Palo Duro Canyon State Park all the way up through Amarillo to McBride Canyon in Fritch, TX. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and the sunsets are breathtaking.
